Studenceskaja

STUDENCESKAJA – a Russian variety of cherries, the tree grows moderately fast, has a high yield, starts to bear fruit early. Resistant to cold, blooms are also hardy. The fruit are around 4.5-5 g, blackish-burgundy, juice is dark red, with a pleasant flavour, the stone is small, separates easily. Fruit ripen in the beginning of July, suitable for processing and consuming fresh. The variety is cross-pollinated (Žagarvyšnė, Vytėnų žvaigždė).
