ALEXANDER LUCAS – a variety of Autumn pears. It starts bearing fruit early, around the third year. The tree has a high yield. The fruit are average (120-160 g) and big (up to 240 g), egg-shaped, yellowish-green, sometimes have slight redness. Fruit ripen in the end of September-beginning of October. The pulp is yellowish-white, very juicy, sweet, low granulation. The tree grows moderately fast, has average resistance to cold. The variety is resistant to scabs. Cross-pollinated (Clapp's Favourite).
