CONFERENCE– an English autumn breed. Fruits are harvested in early October, properly stored last for 3 – 4 months, large, very tasty, aromatic, sufficiently resistant to scab fungus and the black rot. Fruit trees are of average size, moderately enduring in winter, starts to bear fruits of 3 – 4 years, the harvest is abundant an annual. The variety is partially self-pollinating (Clap’s Favourite, Comice), it is characterized by parthenocarpy, i.e. fruit formation without pollination.
