Sonora

SONORA – a Latvian self-pollinated variety of plum-tree. Fruit ripen in the end of August-beginning of September. The fruit are big, 45-60 g, the skin is violet-red, with a waxy coating, they have a great taste, the stone separates easily. The variety has a high yield, is resistant to diseases, suitable for organic farms. The tree grows slow, branches hang down, easy to shape, blooms moderately early.
