Denisen‘s yellow

DENISEN’S YELLOW (Donissens gelbe)– a German variety of sweet cherries, created already in the beginning of 19 century. Fruits are yellow, weigh 4 - 5 g, have the shape of a heart, juicy, sweet, aromatic, ripen in late July. The tree is of average height, gives abundant yield annually, resistant to diseases, sufficiently resistant to cold. The variety is partially self-pollinating, but gives better harvest when grown together with Meelika, Hedelfinger and other breeds that bloom at a similar time.
