JURGITA – Lithuanian variety bred by A. Lukosevicius, fruits ripen during the first ten days of July, they are large – 6 – 6.5 g, dark red. They should be consumed within 7 – 10 days after picking. The pulp is semi-cartilaginous, sweet, the stone separates easily. Fruit trees grow fast, winter enduring, resistant to diseases. The variety is open-pollinated (best pollinators Dniprovka, Denisen’s Yellow, Ovstuzenka). It is not demanding for soil and location.
