REGINA – a German variety of sweet cherries, the tree is of average height, starts to yield 3-4 years after planting, gives a moderately abundant harvest annually. Fruits ripen in late July, very large – approximately 8 g, under favourable conditions even exceed 10 g, dark red. The pulp is firm, juicy, sweet, has a very good taste, the stone is of average size. Fruits hold on tree for a long period of time after ripening, do not rot or crack. The variety is open-pollinated, resistant to diseases, fairly resistant to cold, transportable.
