Melrose

MELROSE - a winter variety of apple trees created in USA. Fruits are large, slightly ribbed, red, the pulp is white and firm, juicy, tasty, the taste reminds a sweet and sour wine. Harvested in early October, consumed from January to June. Fruit trees are tall, therefore, grafted only to dwarf rootstocks, good resistance to diseases, the variety is moderately resistant to cold, needs to be planted in warmer places of the garden.
